Final Reflection

Throughout the class I haven’t had much stress towards this class or anxiety, but initially I definitely had some procrastination. One thing I enjoyed about the class overall was the set up, and set schedule which I utilized after a few experiences of throwing things together in the last few hours.
Some of the assignments I really enjoyed were ones that required you to get out there and ask questions or make connections. One of the reasons I enjoyed this is because of the new information you learn from others opinions, and another is because it showed me how easy it is to get your questions heard by people. Reaching out to others is something I haven’t done much of and I’m glad this class showed me how easy it can be.
One part I thought I would dread is the book reviews, but I actually really enjoyed the books I chose. Not only did these books give promising and inspiring examples of entrepreneurship, they also showed the work and dedication it takes. I also enjoyed reading my groups posts, which have caused me to purchase another to read in my free time.
During the semester there were definitely assignments that seemed deep and in depth, but I soon realized that is how entrepreneurship is. I feel like almost every assignment introduces you to a different aspect that comes with the profession, and they all go way deeper than what we touched. Occasionally I would actually get excited about the assignment, which shows that many of the exercises in this class have further developed my entrepreneurial mindset.

If I could recommend one thing to a student enrolled in this course, I would tell them to make sure you understand the system first of all, and plan out when you are going to do the assignments because sometimes they can slip by. Also, pay attention to the feedback, and continue to integrate it in your assignments when necessary because another pair of eyes can make a huge difference. One last thing would be to make sure you come up with a concept that you can relate to, or is easily accessible due to the instances when you have to interview potential customers, and it also makes the assignments easier. As long as you stay up on the due dates and have an opportunity that is easily relatable the course is enjoyable and beneficial.
